honoured dead memorial could be reached without difficulty as it’ s 1 mile away. the hotel was situated in front of the bus bus stop, just 10 minutes walking distance. perfect for trip.

Charming getaway with great food and attentive staff. the rooms were cozy and well decorated, perfect for a romantic escape. We loved the tasty breakfast and the locally-sourced ingredients used in the dishes. the central location made it convenient for us to explore the town on foot, which was a major plus.
The hotel was a bit outdated and could use some renovations, especially in the bathroom area. the lack of soundproofing between the rooms made it a bit noisy at times.

Hi,.. on the friday i checked-in, the hot water was a problem and i was very dissapointed. i booked a double room for wanting a friend to sleep over with me. Without the hot water i slept over at my friends place instead. So ended up paying for a room i didn't make full use of.. On the plus side you staff are very friendly and helpfull, and they let me check-in early, and i had the use of the room during the day time. i returned the next morning, and breakfast was good thanx but try and get filter coffee please. (Instant coffee is not first choice. i rated some items as poor due to the lack of hot-water... Regards, Clint

The hotel room was neat and clean and offered good value for the money. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was in a great central location, making it easy to explore the nearby sights. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was basic but satisfying.
We were disappointed by some aspects of our stay. The TV only had a few local channels, which was a bit boring during the New Year's celebrations.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Savoy and found it central to the 'big hole' and museum an also to the town itself. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good and plenty of it. We also had dinner in the restaurant at night and the meals were plentiful and very good. We would recommend it for a budget hotel.

The Savoy was a total disappointment from the place I used to know. The carpets have not been changed in 40 years , the lace curtains were torn, there was a tv but no remote, the bathroom door did not close( too big for the door frame) " Old De Beers road"nightclubs played music at levels that are clearly not legal and we did not sleep at all on the Friday nigh. We could not wait to get out of this rat hole and did not request our money back for the Saturday night and did not even have breakfast because we could not get out fast enough. I most definitely will not recommend staying there at all. Even though we told the reception staff of the dilemma of not being able to sleep there was not attempt to apologize or even suggest a refund for the Saturday night.

We enjoyed the convenient location near museums and the famous Big Hole.

I didn't realize that Kimberley was in such decline in the downtown area. The hotel was OK but overpriced.
